For a UK yard
Scaffolding software UK
ScaffYard is scaffolding software for a UK scaffolding firm. One desk in the office, and the same job on the team's phones: the quote, the hire, the inspections and the invoice.
What the yard does on it
You type the measure and the price comes out at your own rates. The kit list is worked out with it. You can change any number, or build the list yourself. The quote goes out on your letterhead.
When the customer says yes, the job goes on someone's day and lands on their phone with the address, the RAMS and what to load. They sign in, read and sign the RAMS, photograph the scaff tag and tick erected. Their tick is the evidence, with their name and the time. You say when it is on hire.
You priced it for the weeks you agreed. ScaffYard flags a job a week before those weeks run out, so you can ring the customer. Extra hire after that is charged only if you choose to charge it. The hire stops the day the customer comes off hire. The day the steel comes down is the strike, and it does not push the hire back out.
You raise the invoice yourself, once the job is up if that is when you want to be paid. It carries your company, your VAT number and the CIS the way you have set the yard up, and a pay link to your own card payments. The app does not take the customer's money.

Straight about it
- Not a scaffold design, and not a survey. The kit list is a take-off from the measure you type, and the quote says so.
- It does not write your RAMS. You write the method and the controls, and you sign it.
- No payment claims and no QS valuations. You do the work and you invoice it.
